What You Bring to the Table
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager with 5–10 years of progressive accounting experience (preferably in a service-based or professional services environment), strong proficiency in financial reporting, advanced Excel, and proven leadership abilities to oversee accounting operations, mentor staff, ensure compliance and accuracy, and provide financial insights that support business decisions and client success in a fast-paced service industry setting.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and cash management
- Supervise, mentor, and develop the accounting team to ensure high performance, accuracy, and professional growth
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes, prepare accurate financial statements, and deliver timely management reports
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP), internal controls, tax requirements, and regulatory guidelines
- Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, prepare budgets and forecasts, and support strategic decision-making
- Manage client billing, invoicing, collections, and revenue recognition to optimize cash flow and client satisfaction
